Headlight out- suggestions?

I noticed after a ride that my headlight was out- all other lights are working normally.
Fuse is good, fuse holders are clean and have 12v both ends, fuse is good.

No power to hi/lo switch

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Starter button needs cleaning. When the starter button is pressed it disables the head light and energizes the starter solenoid.

So, bite the bullet and just take it apart? Ain't rocket science I spose...rocket science isn't rocket science either, according to rocket scientists...

Thanks Indiana (spent my childhood in Franklin) that was it, contacts were dirty.

I hereby propose the first law of GoldWingery, or maybe gl1100s- if it doesn't work, it's because it's old and corroded. Take it apart and clean it.
