read all the treads on temp gauges, heat sensors rectifier etc ( 1100 gl)
still wonder where to start...
my temp gauge seems to stay under the blue line while idle and while i ride.fuel gauge works fine.
only when i turn it off, the gauge moves up to working temp, and sometimes above.( is this a symptom of a stuck thermostat?)
if i crank the engine again, it drops back to the blue area.
fan kicks in when needed.
weird..
what should i check?
tnx to all

Re: temp guage, assistance needed
tnx man.
its funny..i let it idle today, and the fan kicks in time (fan swich seems to be ok)
temp stays in the normal area even after 20 min of idle.
the second i put the bike in gear and head off, temp drops to the blue area.
wtf ?
anyone...?
tnx guys

Re: temp guage, assistance needed
Once you are moving.air is running through the radiator, could cause temp drop. when I had my carbs out the temp sensor was completly exposed. I got a new one but it did not want to come out felt like it was going to snap off so I left it alone replaced the thermostat and the problem went away ir thermostat is messed up and opens too much you will run on the cold side
