1981 GL1100 Interstate stereo
I have an 1100 interstate and was curious as if anyone has had luck with installing a more modern audio system in the hondaline fairing with cycle sound clam shell?

Yes, I modified my Cycle Sound housing a few years ago. Just cut both halves of the housing to match the new faceplate. After modifying the weather cover to match the new radio you will no longer have the 2 shafts to hold it on so I just adhered mine using a bead of clear silicone.
