Bought an 82 Aspencade project bike today. The owner said it started blowing oil out the left exhaust so he parked it. Bike has been sitting for a year.
A mechanic told him it could be a blown head gasket. I checked the oil but it did not even register in the sight gauge. Did not check the coolant for oil in it.
Any suggestions from our knowledgeable riders?
Thanks

i would check the coolant for signs of oil and do a compression test.
