radiator hose
radiator hose
Well here I go again. pulled the bike back in the shop and was about to walk away and noticed a fairly fast drip from the lower radiator hose. at least I hope that's what's leaking.I removed it and don't really see any hole but I hope it's not coming from the neck to the tank. anyway. is this likely one I can only get by ordering or if I can find some 1" ID hose at a local parts house ?-there isn't that much bend in it but I figure somebody has been dpown this road before.I have to go to town anyway tomorrow and maybe I'll have a chance to check around.that's pretty small radiator hose and pretty large for heater hose so I don't know if it will be on anybody's shelf

Re: radiator hose
a pinhole will usually manifest itself as a fine spray. more likely you just had a clamped connection that was not sealing properly. hopefully not a leak from the rad itself.
you can cut both the upper and lower rad hoses from a single napa 7733 or gates 21008 hose. they are just the right shape and it's a common money-saving trick for these bikes.

Re: radiator hose
A good list to save for aftermarket parts numbers... Scroll down through for parts for each wing model, the list has specific parts and then followed by wing model and known aftermarket interchange part numbers. Read through the replies too for more replacement parts added to the list by others.
