pegs

Post by Skeldog »

I know I have been posting too much, but just wondering what might work well as forward foot pegs attached to the crash bars.the factory pegs seem to do fairly good to a point but on a hot day with the heat coming up from the false tank it would be nice to place the feet forward and not be hugging that thing.I do have a set of wind wings I probably should put back on to pull some air in around it. I've seen various pegs with offset brackets advertised that look like they might work but I knoiw there are enough experienced folks on here that have tried enough to know what works best

The ones that I have on mine are just basic crash bar mount foot pegs.

I can remember to, I'll take a better picture of it when I get home.

that looks like it will get your legs out in the wind good.mine doesn't have that vertical loop bar. it did have a pair of galvanised bars that clamped between the two horizontal bars but it was really ugly and had a set of home made pegs I did not like at all still I guess funcional but I took them off. I found some offset clamp on style pegs on the net that look like they might be made to work as long as they didn't slip from the pressure. thought maybe someone might be using a set similar and could tell me if they did

I don't know how well the ones you are going to get will work, but mine hold pressure pretty well.
