engine working on 3

Hi everyone, a couple of times went for a ride with my 82 gl 1100 and everything went smooth. Once home I parked the bike in front of the garage and after one hour or so I took her into it. But engine, both times, started just with 3 cyl. and kept working on 3. Any ideas about this problem? Thanks.

Assume you can identify which cyl is dead (temperature of the head pipe). Problem is gas or spark. Check spark with a spare spark plug laying on the head. Check gas by opening the airbox and shoot a bit of starter fluid into the intake tube. No spark probably bad plug, or shorted wire. No gas is probably stuck float. You could try softly tapping on the carb bowl to free stuck float.
