Drag Specialties chrome caliper covers
Hello all! I am looking for some information and pictures. I have an 83 GL1100A that had Drag Specialties chrome caliper covers on the front. I took them off a number of years ago and put a protective spray on them and put them away. Now I want to put them back on and for the life of me, can't figure out how they fit!! Does someone have an 83 that they have these mounted on and can take a picture for me? The brackets are still on with the screws in them, but I just can't figure out how to put them on. Thanks for your help!

Different brand, but I bet it's similar.

Re: Drag Specialties chrome caliper covers
Thank you for your reply! Yeah, those look different, and don't really see the mounts; I didn't formulate my question very well I guess. I thought I could get a deeper answer ( show mounts) if someone replied! I was going thru all my old pictures and actually I must've taken a shot of the mounts when I took those off. Sometime in between 2014 and now, the front mounting bracket got flipped like 180° out. It is to the back of the bike now, on both sides of the bike, and it is supposed to face forward!! I just happened on the picture, but it definitely shows that mount. Thank you again, I sure appreciate all the help on this forum, and knew this would be the best place to look for answers. I found pictures of an 83 someone had them in place, but I could not see how the mounts were, and no matter how I held those parts, the mounting holes did not line up. All is good now!
