Dash data fading in and out

Dash data fading in and out
Hey everybody, as the title states I have a 83' Aspencade and the dash displays come on and off. Usually only one side shows data. For example I can see the air pressure but it won't display the temp. RPM goes in and out also. I thought I read somewhere that you can replace a voltage regulator (or capacitor?), but I can't seem to find the information again. Can someone give link or information on how to fix it? Thanks...
