83 GL1100A part number/description needed!

Post by Sig45227 »

I've done several searches online and all of the sites that we are using here, as well as eBay and I cannot find this part by number or name. What is Honda's designation for this thing?

Anytime you type in anything for breaks, forks, seals, bushings you get so many hits back you have to wade through a sea of garbage and none of it is the part you are looking for.
Help is always appreciated! :D

If it’s just the rubber boot you need, my Honda dealer had the latest part number for it. It is used on many bikes apparently and should be available.

No luck with my Honda dealer, he was looking at the same horrible microfiche I saw online numerous times last night.
The only part number he has is for an entire anti dive system.

The numbers you had above were for the left and the right. He could not find an actual part number just for the rubber boots on either side of the Anti dive piston.
If your dealer knows the numbers would you mind giving them a call for me andpostingt them? I can at least order them then.
Everything else I ordered from parts numbers I got off the internet, they were able to get for me.
These little bushings for some reason are a pain in the rear.
