GL 1100 no turn signals brake lights horn

Post by Perie »

My issue no turn signals brake lights horn. I believe I have a bad turn signal relay. The connector has black green and gray wires. I believe the gray goes to turn signal switch green is ground and the black with key turned on is 6.12 to 6 volts. It seems to me it should be 12volts but I’m not sure or I’m troubleshooting this wrong. Thanks for any help.

everything runs on 12 volts except for the temp and thermo gauges. check the voltage on both ends of the glass fuse. could be corrosion on the fuse terminal

After posting this I started over. I wasn’t thinking clearly. It’s now resolved. Blown fuse and bad flasher. Replaced the flasher with Napa electric flasher. Replaced fuse. All is good.
