so according to this i can run NON resister(more spark) plugs in a 80/81. what changed or what happened to have um change to resister

my 82 has bigger coils than my 81

Not sure about the '82/'83 but my '80 has resistors in the sparkplug caps. Resistor plugs not needed.
A local inventor has figured a way to turn a sausage grinder backward to manufacture pigs. :lol:

right, so why run resister plugs also.....this in my 82 with a escort coil pack,NGK wires showing the difference in the spark between a Non and resister plug

i thought of that.....would runnin NON resister plugs put a strain on the oem coils

Non resistor plugs will be fine, but if you have a radio they cause interference especially on AM band if you listen to that
