The seat is starting to show its age...

Post by bofler »

Just noticed that the vinyl on my seat is starting to crack and open on both sides, at the back corners of the driver's section. I guess these are the points that get the most stress, and they're starting to show it. My seat is in great condition otherwise and would like to keep it looking good for as long as possible. Are there any steps I could take to repair and/or keep these holes from growing?

That seems to be about a later model with a leather seat. I'm dealing with an 1100 with a vinyl seat.
