Left front direction not working

I have a 1982 gl1100. Front left blinker not flashing. I was able to get it to work for a few seconds by moving wires attached to light but now not working. Right front and right rear work when turned on. Not sure if a wiring issue or relay switch. Any ideas?

Start with your basics. Remove the bulb and give it a check, look for corrosion inside the socket that might be causing a poor connection. You might want to use an electrical meter to see if the ground on the socket is good by going directly to the battery with your other lead. Go over the wires and see if anything looks chafed or cracked due to age.
