need a cup holder

Post by winguyjo »

i am not interested in drinking while i ride, i just want to get a cup of coffee home safely from the coffee shop. must be cheap, must be readily available from a store ... i am thinking maybe something from the bicycle section of walmart ? could even be something planted in the trunk or side bag since i don't want to drink it while riding. what are you using ?

note : emphasis on CHEAP. diy ideas are most welcome.

I keep one of these in my trunk for just that purpose.

The wide base pretty much stays put. I was going to attach it, but at first I just put sand in the bottom (there is a snap off cover) Later I swapped that for a steel disc just to give it some weight. Haven't had a spill yet and holds any size cup I have run into.
