Drips from the bottom of the accelerator pump

Carbs have been rebuilt. Yesterday I filled the bowls with gas and everything seemed good when tested. Was about to install them today, but I noticed drips from the bottom of the accelerator pump. It's coming from the little brass ball shown in the photo. What should I do to stop this leak?

Think it has been solved. Got a tip from elsewhere. Just tapped it a couple of times with a punch and that stopped the leak.
