Another GL1100 Carb Rebuild Thread

Hi there!

I recently purchased the Randakk's Gl1100 Carb Rebuild kit. I thought I had purchased the kit with the guide, but I opened it today and saw unfortunately there is no guide in the one I bought, looks like someone forgot to pack it or I added the wrong item to the cart. Looking at their site, if I try to order it again, the shipping itself costs more that the book not to mention duties crossing the boarder into Canada - huge bummer.

Is there any online version of this book available anywhere? Even for purchase? I’m happy to pay for the book, but paying more to ship some paper across the border seems insane. Hoping to do the rebuild this weekend if there is anything anyone can do to help me here?

I bought the Randakk kit without the guide and had no problem. There are good DYI docs on this website, but for carbs I found other sites had good info too. I didn't find that exact guide, but found good info, with pics. I'd have to dig a bit to find exact links I used, but start with a google search. If you get stuck, I'll try to locate the links. Good luck.
