Leaking fuel into intake and not starting
Hi all! I'm working on restoring an 1982 gl1100. Got it to torn over, but fuel is goong into the intake in the carbs. Was hoping I could get a but better direction here from you all. I took the carbs off and got a rebuild kit.

Sounds like a stuck needle valve, pretty simple fix, get all passages clean, one at a time....

Ok, so I cleaned the needles and sprayed some carb cleaner into those passages. It wanted to start but then started putting gas into the intake again. I think it is coming from carb 3. Any better idea on how to clean that up?

You can try rapping on the float bowl with a screwdriver handle, sometimes they just get stuck from being dry. But more than likely you will have to open the float bowl, and clean the float pivot, and the needle and seat.

Replace the needle valve, especially if it's rubber tipped...
