what to look for under false tank while it's off???

I've removed the false tank preparing to remove carburetors. Is there anything I should look for, replace, test, pray over while it's off?

yep, rats. almost got snake bit when i removed the seat from a hd ultra about 30 years ago. he was after the rats.

Thats strange, on most HDs I thought the rats are usually on the top of the seat?

Can you spray the area under the false tank with a cleaning foam and then hose it off - covering the air filter, of course?
