bent valves? timing issues
When turning the engine over by hand im hearing a click from the right side of the bike. seems like the valves sticking? happens bout twice within rotating 360. there is some resistance when turning it so i fear im looking at a bent valve issue. also i have the valve adjustment screws backed all the way out and when its at TDC on the compression stroke i can adjust intake and exhaust vales on cylinder 1 but the exhaust for 3 and the intake on 4 are not adjustable. with the adjustment screws backed all the way out i cant get a feeler gauge in

Pull covers and check valve timing, if a valve gets bent, one symptom, besides zero compression, is the lash increases ALOT....also, make sure you are turning it over in the correct direction...

First thing check the timing belt positions. Make sure they are correct. Check valve lash. When the exhaust just starts to open, check the intake. When the intake has fully opened and starts to close, check the exhaust. If there is no lash even with the adjuster backed out fully, you have either broken a valve, or dropped a seat in the head. As was mentioned a bent valve will have excessive lash not zero.
