83 Aspencade Air Suspension Fittings

Post by Sig45227 »

Anyone know the thread size on the 83 Aspencade air line fittings? Appears to be 5/16-24. Or a really close metric equivalent, M8x1?
Broke a line replacing a Schrader valve.
Have this on order from Ebay, hoping it's correct.

The search continues. The part I bought off eBay was in great condition. To bad it's about 17" too short.

I think I narrowed the part down after removing the broken line etc. Part #18 from the microfiche.

Really wish there were an alternative to eBay and Parts Unlimited type sites that just say " Currently Not Available "

A picture of what is actually broken would help. Those are long discontinued from Honda. A hydraulic hose shop that does brake lines can probably make up a hose for you. Best to bring them the old hose as they may want to reuse an end if they don't have a match.

Already bought an entire complete system for $55 from a salvage yard.

Broken fitting end for reference. Luckily I found an entire system to scavenge parts from. I'll post the Schrader valve button to help people avoid what I did. Should probably get a manual as that would have helped me avoid thus possibly.
