fork tubes
currently resurrecting a 1983 gl1100 aspencade. the fork tubes are pitted all over the place. i THOUGHT i had a good set in the hoard that i could use but have found that they are pitted right where the circlip sits. so my question is ... to possibly expand my options in the hunt for a good set, is there another model of honda that uses the exact same fork tubes ?

Exact as in same part number, no. In fact 83 was a one year only part while 80-82 shared a different one.
Are there others close enough to use, I have no idea.
