Handlebar adjustment

Im trying to think through the process and parts needed to adjust the controls to a comfortable level. I am 6’4 and feel like the bars are entirely too low and too much of an angle. Im not versed in the proper adjustments on them so what do I need to know? If I need a riser is there a preferred one that goes on a stock 81 interstate?

7/8 riser is what you need some go strait up others up and back or reverse them up and forward also see some that curve up or back. Most have measurements and you need to loosen your bars and figure out what you need.
