CAN'T GET STARTER INSTALLED

Shot in the dark here.
What if you try to turn the engine and see if the chain and starter sprocket lower down to where they should be.

Shot in the dark # 2.
Could there be a piece of starter snout O ring seal or other foreign object stuck on the chain causing the miss alignment.

Shot in the dark # 3.
How about Appling heat with a heat gun to the chain and sprocket.

PS Running out of ammo here, I think my bag of tricks is empty.

I wouldn't worry too much.....The thread is 8 years old! Hopefully he's not still trying to install the starter! :lol:
