hi all,
if i may add too the discussion.
i did it myself here.

the alternator is a 55 amp (chinese copy) from Rockauto .
the crank pulley is 4 inch
alternator pulley is 2.0 or 2.5 inch i dont remember and the strap is a V h-duty but i am not sure it's kevlar.

i add to change the regulator inside the alt at my second ride,,it has lower his voltage so i baught one at a shop here and it is ok,,,chinese again.

next summer i will be hunting in the local scrap yard for an OEM Japanese Nippo you can be sure.

it can be done,
