C/B radio

Post by zootctny »

Have just purchased '86 aspencade, it does not have C/B. I want to add one. Is it already wired so I can add a stock C/B which I have already purchased ??

there is a few more bits and pieces you need other than the cb to get it all working and true, the wires are all there to mount it up. My personal experience with the standard cb intercom etc, wasnt too good and I went through two of them (both stopped working) it became really too expensive to fix them, and in my humble opinion, technology has move on a bit too.

I brought a J&M cb unit, these fit the 1200,on a bracket on the handle bar, and work really well, I never regretted getting one and have had no issues. They require a bit of changing and fiddling around.

Do research on these before purchasing.

Here on the site there is a c/b installation manual as well under manuals section. It has everything you will need for a install.

Thanks to all who answer and help. It is greatly appreciated!
