Post by sportsfreaked »

Can someone tell me if the emulator in the fork can be removed and if so how to do it. Thanks.

Thanks to all who answer and help. It is greatly appreciated!

You'll find it just below the spring in most cases. They are normally just held in place by the spring as I recall. You can easily remove them but your damper rod valving has probably been removed or enlarged as to not interfere with the action of the emulators. If your plan is to go back to stock you will have to source some parts. It might be easier to tune the emulators to your liking. If these are Race Tech Gold Valves you could contact them for assistance or maybe they have some helpful info on their website.
