Hello does anyone have any experience with riding a GL1200 with a sidecar attached to it?

I did about 40 yrs ago. Didn't like anything about it. So I didn't buy the bike. But that was my first time with a Hack and the last.
They do need some getting used too. :o

A friend has a 84 standard with side car, it handles the car really well, they take a bit of getting used to and can be prone to front wheel wobble at slow speeds.

in the case of my friend the front end was replaced to accommodate the car.

Hello oldishwinger. Thanks for your reply. Do you know where your friend got the new front end for his 84 Wing. I have been searching for a source your a raked triple tree for my 85 Aspencade.

check with bazooka at trike.com. look in the for sale section and there is a sticky there for rake kits
that's where I got the 4.5 for my 1500. just post asking if he has a kit for your bike

No I'm sorry dont know where the front end came from. neither does my friend, Ill see if I can dig up a photo
