I've got a blown head gasket on right side should I change both head gaskets ?

I have always subscribed to the idea of replacing both sides because usually if one has blown the other one may not be far from blowing also, not all the time, but that is my opinion. :)

You might as well. You'll thank yourself if you go on longer trips. Cleaning the old gasket material is the worst part. I have pretty good luck using Aircraft Paint Stripper in a van from Walmart et.al. Put it on with a q-tip so you don't take the paint of your engine. Give it five minutes, recoat, go to the other side.

A sheet of glass with fine wet-dry sandpaper works well also. Just make sure you're applying even pressure. Save yourself a little more trouble if you get the four dowels still available from Honda.

Do you have tow coverage? Chances are pretty good it's going to go. The only question is when.

Is your left head gasket as old as your right head gasket?
I rest my case.
