unusual(?) noise in rear

Post by flash1942 »

Took off some Dunlops and put on new Michelin Commander tires. Never paid any attention to the old tires but I have noticed a very slight whine when leaning left or right of center. You guys with Michelins, have you noticed any kind of noises? I'm hoping that it's not the beginning of rear bearing problems.

As near as i can tell . its caused by the deep wide side groves in the the ĉommander 11 tires . i noticed it right away although a tad annoying you do get use to it . keep them aired up 40-42 PSI it helps a tad

I concur fully, these tires require a "bit" more air pressure to ride "right"... I tried them at 32 PSI and they didn't work well at all.
