CB install

HAs anyone added the CB unit to an existing Aspy that currently does NOT have the CB?

Cannot seem to find that in here anywhere.

Yep I have, the OEM are pretty much plug and play its best to have the installation manual though to help the install.

they work very well when going, but for me anyway, the OEM proved to be abit problematic twice, so I installed a J&M unit and havnt had issues since.

What do you mean by the J&M cb ?

they are available at wingstuff I think, J&M and cyclemax that I know of could be more.

The J&M will not integrate into the OEM system but it has intercom and ability to connect to mp3 or phone for music etc. All thru a 6 pin headset.

I did manage to partially intergrate the unit so that I can hear the radio and I play mp3 though the radio, so i get both through the headset but yep as you say it has its own intercom which makes the oem obsolete
