clutch has a lot of play
have a 1985 gl1200a , after sitting for a few years got on it and pulled clutch lever and there was a pop, and now clutch is in/op. any suggestions?

you might have a leak and missing some fluid, bleed it and refill it

I would check all the rubber in the system; lines, master and slave cylinders; description sounds like a rubber component let go, good luck
