backfiring

Post by Kenstoy2 »

I have a 84 GL1200 Aspencade. I had the carb's rebuilt, new hot plugs installed, checked the synch on carbs. I checked other things like the cutoff, hoses, fuel lines, air filter, and lines. But no avail. No flame this time. At times, the engine runs on 3 cylinders after it warms up. I give it throttle, then back off, the 4th cylinder kicks in. Any ideas, please?

During the carb rebuild, did you remove/adjust the pilot screws?

If you aren't having fun doing it, find something else to do.
