What springs are you referring to? I am looking at my GL1200 FSM cylinder head section and I don't see any springs on the rocker shafts. Do you mean valve springs?

I'm talking about the springs that turns the rocker arm shafts for the valve clearance adjustment

Sorry, my 84-86 Factory Service Manual doesn't show any springs on the rocker shafts. It shows adjusting the valves with shims. The 87 must be different.
