'85 GL1200A, Went for a ride today on a bumpy road. Something came loose and my Fuel light came on. Then the Tack went wacky 60 MPH in 5th and Tack was flashing red line. (I could tell by the sound of the engine it was no where near red line.) The gear indicator started flashing as well. Where should I look first for the loose connection?
Thanks,
-Mark

Re: Flashing Fuel light 1/2 tank of gas
I was confident I had a loose connection. I went to move the bike today and found it had gotten worse. No power after turning the key on. Turned the bars left right and got it to light up and start up. After I pulled the storage bins out and checked the connections and checked the front fuse block. I decided to check the fuse located at the battery. It was fine but the ground connection was loose. Tightened it up and the console lit up properly.
