Return to a Classic Wing

I've had several GL1000's & 1100's, but never a 1200. I've been riding an Ultra Classic for the past 2 years, really nice bike but it just didn't fit my riding habits. I happened across an 86 with 17k miles on CL and it followed me home. The paint is really nice and it runs great. I suspect I'll have quite a bit of maintenance this winter for a bike that's been in garages for 30 years.

I have one just like it I love it only had it 2 seasons had all kinds of other bikes there as lots of Harley's out there
I used to like them but its nice to have a bike that
really stands out in a crowd mine already had the alternator conversion check the side covers if they seem loose check
the 3 posts for wear and change the rubber gromets they are about 6 bucks some on this forum have secured them to the frame if you lose them on the highway they are expensive on ebay (200+ bucks for the battery side cover any way it's a great bike good luck
