1200 GL Speedometer change

I want to get rid of the fairing and install a regular looking speedometer and Tachometer along with a light bar. What works ???

You should be able to use a speedo from an 1100, but the 83 will give you a higher MPH reading. The tach on the other hand will require an electronic version and the 84 Standard is the only offering from Honda that will work, and they are rather hard to find. When/if you do find them, the price matches. Another option is any electronic aftermarket tach.
