Replacement Horn and Starter buttons

Post by PileDriver »

Is there a manufacturer selling replacement buttons for the horn and starter for the GL1200?

Mine was missing the horn button when I bought it in 2010. The started button disintegrated on me a few days ago.

If no one is producing them, are enough folks here missing them that would be interesting seeing if we can get some 3D printed?

That's not something I've heard of happening a great deal - perhaps on bikes that have spent more of their lives outdoors in the sun? But it's a perfect candidate for 3D printing, I agree.

My GL1200 is my daily commuter vehicle and I'm a 'rounder to boot. It's outdoors almost every weekday at work. I guess I should look at getting a cover for it...
