Return back in the intake,gasket kit for intake ?regulator cable become hot???

hi all,
i am new in the group,i just baught a used 1984 Aspencade,95,000 km.
The dealer sold it has it is,he advised me too clean the carb ,,it is needed .

It does not run idle,i need too used a little of choke so it will run,is it a case for cleaning the carb to your idea?

the air compressor is now running,does it have a secret fuse somewhere?

and finally:

there is a jumper cable from the regular too one of the RED connector on the Starter relay,,it is becoming hot when the engine is running,
i think it is a charging cable??
it is connected where on the relay the Red/wihite stripe would connect ,,do it turn on a light ??

i sure would like to find the shematic of the voltage regulator and the starter relay:to know what cable are use for???

at least the engine is running with some backfire in the carb but i really thing it is because of the dirt.

any advise guys will be appreciated

just curious,do you still have your trike?
i always ask myself how they "attached" it too the bike?

would you have some pictures of the rear end where we could see how it is fixed at your GL?
