Front wheel wobble,again but different.

Hi, this time it wants to wobble at about 90 mph,it is ok below that speed,ideas,thanks.

What procedure was used to set head bearings torque? They may be loose..............

Ok,I did as it said in my shop manual,did not feel anything loose but have not replaced them.

How close did you get the weight pull readings? When I did mine I found that they weren't very close to each other, but I rotated the steering several times as I tightened and retorqued the nut. Rechecked the weight pull as I slowly came closer to the specification. I think the rotating of the steering is what made the variation from the two sides reduce to a very close match between the two sides. I have no wobbles up to 110, even 2 up. If the steering bearings are torqued well, I'd start looking at bearing in the wheels, then the swingarm bearings and their torque.

PS I hope the "my shop manual" is the Honda version.

Make sure the axle caps are on with arrow pointing forward. they are cut on a taper.

Hi,the axle caps are on in the right direction,so that is not the issue,thanks. :D

Could also be underinflated tire, poor load distribution (junk in the trunk) worn or leaky shocks or forks. Worn rear shock bushings. Loose or worn swingarm bearings. Bike alingment. Tires.........
