gl1200 ltd, I can't seem to find any info on the setting of this screw. Doesn't the idle adjustment screw act as the throttle stop..? what am i missing here?

I guess you don't have the LTD/SEI supplement. Yes the throttle stop screw is used to adjust the idle. On most fuel injected engines the throttle stop is a "don't mess with this" item.

Yes I have the supplement, there is a throttle stop screw and an idle adjust screw. On a
33 year old wing rest assured someone has messed with everything. I want to make sure the setting proper!!

The manual is a little vague on it and I don't have a bike to look at but from what the manual says it appears to be the same thing. There is a synch screw also.

Throttle stop is on the left throttle arm, idle screw is on the airbox between the throttle bodies, synch screw is on the right throttle arm. Throttle stop and idle screw appear to do the same thing.
