84 Standard passenger backrest?
Would like to know if there is a passenger backrest that would fit on an '84 Standard... don't want a cargo box just a sissy bar/backrest... is there such a thing, or will I have to fabricate something?

Re: 84 Standard passenger backrest?
I have a K&G luggage rack for mine that I adapted an aftermarket backrest to it. K &G also made sissy bars and there are some on ebay.

Re: 84 Standard passenger backrest?
I still have an original color 18-page sales brochure for 1984 Gold Wings that I got when I bought my first Gold Wing in 1984.
I just checked it and it shows that Honda themselves made a luggage rack for the Standard model GL1200. Those most always came with a passenger back rest on them as well. What a score it would be to find one of those original Hondaline parts.
Keep checking eBay. There are tons of seller on there who do nothing but disassemble vintage bikes and part them out. You may get lucky!

Thanks, that's really what I'm looking for. But not affraid to Fabricate one myself. It would be awesome to find the original part... I've only seen it in pictures.
