ETC 17p coupler terminals

Post by finkeel »

I found the numbering of the etc 17p coupler terminal in the wiring diagram. But I don't understand how the numbers relate to
the terminals (pins) in the 17p connector under the shelter , are the pins in this connector numbered? I admit i'm struggling to understand the wiring so any help will be welcomed. thanks Bruce

17P should be the number of pins in the coupler, this coupler can hold up to 17 wires.

If you have a good enough magnifying glass you might be able to see numbers on the connector, probably just #1 and #8 on the other end on the top side and #9 & 17 on the bottom side. The car manuals have pictures of the connectors with the numbers and wire colors, they didn't bother for the bikes.
Looking at the manual I believe #1 is going to be the red wire, looking at the wire side of the connector with the lock tab up the numbers run left to right then to the bottom row the LG/B wire is at #9 with #17 on the lower right corner.

Have only found one 17 pin connector under the shelter going to the travel computer. Are you looking at another one?
