Turn signal just stopped working

Txkfonman here 1984 GL1200A

my signals were working fine as was the emergency flashers, then nothing, turn or emergency, the front light for the side I put the swich to goes dead but as long as it is in the middle the running light work,so I would think the switch is working the fact the both the turn signals and the emergency flashers stopped it is not the flashers,they are two different unit's so were should I go now?

In Order :
Fuse check ? ( rare )
Flasher dead ( even rarer )

Bad ground to flasher ( common )

FYI
B wire on OEM flasher is 12 volt
L wire goes to switch and
"E" wire on OEM flasher goes to ground ( this green wire probably corroded somewhere )

Some people just add a second short jumper to a close available ground ....
..... and leave the original in the bike ( taped off, of course ) .
It takes forever to find a bad ground ..

Do your brake lights work? If not check the fuses 1&2 if both are blown you have a short in the wiring.

Fuse was the first thing, I question the flasher because the emergency flashers stopped at the same time, and my brake lights work great, they are two separate lights on my bike, it is a 1200A with the Wing Leader package so it has more lights than a Christmas tree but I don't use them because of the power draw, am thinking about switching all them out for LED not the stock lights just the add on's
