IMO,

once a head gasket starts leaking, it is done for.

Get a new Honda OEM gasket, nothing else will seal it up right.

Are you sure you don't just have a leaky coolant tube that's just running coolant around the side of the head?

What Denverwinger suggests happens a lot. Dry it off, especially the underside of the elbow that the coolant tube fits into. Then start it and check where it comes from. Just running your finger under there should tell you. One of mine does it every cold spell. Using needle nosed visegrips and a rag I can give the tube a twist and it stops. On my other bike I got some slightly oversized orings to seal better.

As others have suggested above.....chances are the coolant leak is from manifold / transfer pipe.

Just a thought......Do you have access to a cooling system pressure tester?..... Rent / borrow from an Autozone or similar parts store and get at the system through the radiator filler neck....15 PSI or so ought to reveal the source.
