Fast Idle issue

So I decided to tackle my fast idle issue but after doing a little test I’m not sure just adjusting the idle screw will fix my problem.

When I start the bike cold it idles at 1100 rpm immediately. Within 60 seconds it’s up to 1600 rpm then as it warms up it rises to 2300 rpm, by the time the bike is up to operating temperature it settles in at 2150 rpm. I can rev the engine and it will come back down but only to 2150.

Anyone have any suggestions on what I should look at?
This is a 85 GL1200 LTD with CFI

I decided to just try adjusting the idle screw.
Got the bike idling at around 900rpm when warm.
We’ll see tomorrow if it starts when cold.
