Starter solenoid plug
Attempting to find a replacement plug for starter solenoid GW 1200 Aspencade 1984. Starter solenoid checks okay but the plug was melted to solenoid. Had to cut wires to remove the plug from the solenoid. Need help. Thanks.

Re: Starter solenoid plug
The 4 wires...only the 2 small ones are needed to make a solenoid click. The 2 big red ones...I bonded them together and tied them to a large #12 fuse holder with a 30 amp fuse and connected direct to the battery cable post on the solenoid.
Attach 2 blade connector to the small wires and plug into the connections that they came out of.Leave the other two empty. There will be volts on them if the dog one fuse is left in the solenoid...remove it.
