electrical problem

Post by fred1diver » Sat May 05, 2018 5:20 pm

hey everyone, I have a strange electrical problem, I can add air to the front and rear suspension but I can't remove air, every time I press the deflate button I blow a fuse, the same fuse as the dash, I don't know where to start to find and correct the problem
any help will be greatly appreciated

Disconnect the decrease solenoid, if it still blows the fuse the problem is a short in the wiring to it, if it doesn't blow the fuse the solenoid is shorted.

It is under the right fairing pocket, a cylinder shaped gizmo with a 2 pin connector.

Ok, so I unplugged the solenoid and the fuse still blew, checked for a leak to ground on the switch but it seems good, I don’t know where to look next

does anyone have the wiring diagram for that system?

the electrical diagram on the site is for the standard model so it does not show the compressor system, does anyone have a diagram showing the compressor system, thanks in advance
