Spark Plugs, Too Many Choices!

Post by mryan60 » Wed May 30, 2018 9:41 pm

I have an '85 Limited Edition and I have owned it for about 4 years. I am preparing to make a trip from Michigan to Florida in the coming months and thinking about replacing the plugs. The bike has 75,000+ miles and it seems that is still has the original plugs. With the number of choices of plugs, Iridium, Platinum, Copper/Nickle, What is the best plug for my bike?

tough choice isnt it its personal choice I guess, for me its iridium seen no reason to change, they do the job, and longevity is great.

The Original NGK specified plugs are what I prefer.

I've tried Iridium and Platinum and other other manufacture's plugs. I've seen no gain of performance or fuel mileage with any of them. All I've managed to do is lighten my wallet by trying different plugs.

I run the Iridiums, just installed them a month ago. Starts, runs great so far, lots of power. Time will tell.
Got them from clubplug.ca (Canada). On the same site if you hit USA goes automatically to clubplug.net
Talk about choices.
