GL1200 1985 Limited Edition CB Radio Talk Button

Post by sufferinghusband »

Hi, all. New to the site. We are bringing back to life an old 85 model Limited Edition. Have to fix the old CB Talk Button on the handlebars. Can anyone tell me if it is a switch that you have to hold on to talk, or if it locks on when pressed? My whole switch is long gone, and I am dealing with bare wires. I imagine it would be a Push to Talk type button, but want to make sure I get the correct one. It won't look the same but I will be trying to get as close as possible. Thanks, any advice appreciated.

Congrats on resurrecting an '85 LTD. I do believe it is a push to talk, but can't confirm until I get home. Good luck.

Let me look, I expect 25 bucks and shipping would do it
It would be shipped from Bonners Ferry Id - so probably 10 bucks or less for that
